Cake Cart and Chocolate Room
Cake Cart and Chocolate Room are the creations of two incredibly talented, world-class chefs: Chef John Ferdinald and Chef Aravinda Leelarathna.
Chef John Ferdinald
Chef John is a chef with many accolades, having participated in numerous competitions and winning over a dozen medals and awards. Among these awards, in 1999, he achieved Culinary Artist of the Year. Chef John has personally trained many apprentices and Canadian Certified Chefs. He opened Le Lavande Catering and Food Service, which allowed him to add a selection of savory choices to his repertoire.
Chef Aravinda Leelarathna
Chef Aravinda is a Master Chocolatier. He actively participated in local culinary competitions, earning several gold and silver medals. His exceptional skills led him to become a senior member of the UAE culinary team, and he served as a jury member for numerous local competitions. In 2018, he won first place during the World Chocolate Master Middle East regional selection.
Together, Chef John and Chef Aravinda bring their extensive experience and passion for culinary excellence to Cake Cart and Chocolate Room, offering a delightful array of sweet and savory creations that are sure to impress any palate.
